Why you bought health insurance for your employees
Deductible shock

Since the enactment of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, there has been an increase in the number of individuals who have high-deductible health insurance plans —
many with deductibles greater than $4,000.
The patient now has the responsibility for the cost of their health care, up to the deductible of their insurance plan.

In the real world most people will put off getting the medical care that they need because of a large bill that they may incur. This leaves you losing all the benefits of offering health insurance to your employees.
Some bureaucrats profess that the high deductible will force the patient to shop around for the best price on medical services. I wonder what rock those bureaucrats live under !
